A delicate and piquant offering from the heart of spindle-dom — a charming little souvenir of Goethe. Its very gray-green cover, and goblin-looking back, look so vaterlandisch, that one expects to find crabbed-looking text within, but, instead of such, type clear as diamond, clear enough to tell even Margaret's story, meets the eye; and we may read it through and think it, not German printing, but English — which we are sorry to say, can be done with few modern American works. No less than five preparatory articles, and notes and appendices enough for Homer, thrown all needful light on teh less intelligible parts of the poem.
