EDINBURGH REVIEW, for January,1845. New York, LEONARD SCOTT & CO.

The January number of this father of the Quarterlies, made its appearance last week. its subjects are all of general interest, as well as high importance. Lord Brougham's Political Philosophy; an extended Agricultural Article; the Chimes; Arnold's Life and Correspondence, are among the number; and nearly every article in the Review is worth, even to the American reader, the entire price of the number.
