THE WORKS OF THE LATE EDGAR ALLAN POE. Volume 4th. Redfield: New York.
This volume completes the collection of the works of the unfortunate Poe. It contains his longest fiction, the nautical story of “Arthur Gordon Pym,” and a number of humorous tales and essays. Some of the latter display that analytical power which Poe possessed in so remarkable a degree, while others are highly amusing and ingenious. Poe was an erratic star in our literary heavens, but the irregularity of his course cannot obscure its brilliancy. Many of his productions will long be read with admiring interest. For sale by F. Blake.
