[page 4, column 4, continued:]

The Poe Monument. — The monument erected to Edgar A. Poe, now placed over his remains at Westminster Cemetery, corner of Fayette and Green streets. will de formally dedicated early in November next, probably on or about the tenth of that month. There is no disposition to transfer the remains and monument from Westminster church-yard to another cemetery, as has been supposed by some, but it is probable a more conspicuous locality in the old grave-yard will be finally decided upon, which will transfer the remains and the monument from the secluded spot now occupied by them. These details will be managed before the dedicatory event.
