Poe's Remains to be Removed. — It appears that it is finally decided to transfer the remains and monument of Edgar A. Poe from the obscure lot now occupied in the rear of Westminster churchyard, corner Green and Favette streets, to a more conspicuous position in front of the church, in the same graveyard. The lot has been secured and the removal and dedication will take place as soon as practicable.

Notes:
A short comment appears in the Baltimore Sun for November 10, 1875, p. 4, col. 5:
The monument over the remains of E. A. Poe in Westminster has been re-erected over the remains of the poet in the new lot in the northwest corner of the cemetery, facing Fayette street.
