Peter Vivian Daniel

Peter Vivian Daniel

(Born: April 24, 1784 - Died: May 31, 1860)

American statesman and jurist. Having been elected as a delegate in the Virginia State legislature, he was elected as Lieutenant Governor of Virginia in 1818, a position he retained until 1836. He served as the Associate Justice of the Supreme Court, having been appointed by President Andrew Jackson. He died in Richmond, VA.
