Dr. Ezra Holden

(Born: August 3, 1803 - Died: March 26, 1846)

American journalist and editor. He was born in Otisfield, ME (near Portland), to Peter Holden and Hannah Watts Brintnal. He died on March 26, 1846 according to chancer document, Holden vs M’Makin, 1847. See Philadelphia Saturday Courier, March 28, 1846, p. 2., cols. 2-3. He died in Washington, PA, and is buried in Laurel Hill, Philadelphia, PA. He was married on June 1, 1830, in Portland, ME, to Almria Webster Lincoln.
