(Born: January 2, 1821 - Died: July 13, 1867)

One of several children of William and Jane Mackenzie, the family that took in the young Rosalie Poe. He died at Manahan Farm in Powhatan County, VA. His birth and death dates are recorded in the Mackenzie family bible, for which copies of the original may be found in the Virginia Historical Society in Richmond, VA.
