Joseph Martin

American publisher. In 1824, he published The Fountain of Life Opened; Or, A Display of Christ, in His Essential and Mediatorial Glory: Containing Forty-two Sermons, on Various Texts of Scripture, written by John Flavel and printed by T. W. White. There is, therefore, a likely personal connection between Martin and White, who later became the publisher of the Southern Literary Messenger.
