THE FOREIGN QUARTERLY REVIEW. No. LXVIII. (or January, 1943. American edition, Leonard Scott dc Co., 112 Fulton st.

For American readers the Foreign Quarterly is becoming the most popular of all the British Reviews; it contains few papers of merely a local interest, and gives a better view of continental literature than any other work that we ere acquainted with. The present number contains sound, valuable papers, but the most interesting one is on Bettina Brentano.
