Wiley & Putnam's Library of Choice Reading, No. 38. The Book of Christmas. By THOMAS K. HERVEY.

The book of Christmas is descriptive of the “Customs, Ceremonies, [page 375:] Traditions, Superstitions, Fun, Feeling, and Festivities of the Christmas Season.” The volume now published is, we believe, only an initial one; being limited to a review of the festival and its observances as they exist in England — adverting to the practices of other countries only incidentally. The book is full of interest, and is very seasonably put forth.
