[page 35, continued:]

GOLDSMITH’S GEMS OF PENMANSHIP. — THIS is the most imdosing [[imposing]] publication on the art of Hand Writing, that we have ever seen. Mr. Goldsmith has almost elevated his art into the upper region of the fine arts. His specimens are gems of neatness, grace and beauty. It is a thousand pities that all who write, and they include nearly all of the population of our country, could not make some approach to the perfection which Mr. Goldsmith has attained in the use of the pen.

It is published by the author, at 189 Broadway.
