THE WORLD IN A POCKET-1300K. Geo. S. Appleton, Philadelphia, and Appleton & Co., New York. 3d edition.

AN exceedingly neat pocket volume, the contents of which fulfill the promise of the title, imposing as it is. One of the chapters, “The Genius of the World,” is quite novel in its way. The time from Moses to 1890, is compressed into five pages; all the genius of the world in so small a space! Alas for genius!
