HUNT’S MERCHANT’S MAGAZINE. — We have seen the proof sheets of this sterling and popular Monthly, for December, and we can assure our mercantile friends that its contents are rich in valuable information. The articles on the “Cotton Trade,” “Commerce of the Prairies,” “British Bounties on Manufacturers,” and the “Postoffice Department,” will be read with great interest. This number completes the Eleventh volume. The best recommendation of this standard work, is the fact, that Baring & Brothers, and the most distinguished merchants of England and France have been regular subscribers to it from the beginning.
